Rarely are things ever a true loss in life. The boy who you thought you’d marry, that friendship that went sour or the dream that slipped away. It’s easy to have rose colored glasses on situations that leave us feeling uncertain. We begin to question our intuition, deny our discernment, and talk ourselves out of the thoughts meant to protect us. When our rose colored glasses slip we tell ourselves unsettling experiences were one off occurrences—in reality, we’re finally seeing things for what they’ve always been. Remember that it’s never a loss, just a lesson learned and another notch on the belt. Because life will move with or without these so-called losses.
